Our crude trading business has longstanding relationships with producers and refiners worldwide. We help the producers to effectively market and distribute their daily production, and the refiners to secure a reliable and consistent supply of the right quality crude at the right time.

We transact in different grades of crude oil in locations worldwide and are active across major centers where crude is produced, refined and traded, enabling our customers to benefit from critical intelligence and access to the most appropriate market. As a physical trader, we can deliver crude anywhere in the globe that our customers require them.

We are one of the world’s largest spot charterers of crude vessels and have a dedicated fleet of various sizes, as well as access to storage on land around the world. With more than five years of trading expertise and operational excellence, we are among major regional players of crude oil and petroleum products with far-reaching trading network and business alliances around the globe including West Africa, Asia, Europe and America.

In dealing with the excess country’s demand and the surplus of domestic refineries’ production, ADI Trading Business Unit conducts a procurement, importing and exporting along with market price index of all refined petroleum products, specialty products, NGL and LPG in order to ensure the security and stability of country’s energy. On the other hand, we strive to create more trading value with fully trading activities, which cover storing, managing, blending and delivering products to our customers in regional and worldwide destination.

With specialist knowledge, worldwide expertise and long established relationships with national oil companies, oil majors and independent producers, we manage transportation via barge and all sizes of vessel to efficiently and reliably transport crude to refiners worldwide.

Logistical capabilities

ADI has been trading crude and other petroleum products for over 5 years. As the world’s largest independent trader of energy products, it has established a unique supply infrastructure, from exploration, to refining, storage and shipping, which enables ADI to respond swiftly and efficiently to market imbalances, and to bring value to the end user.
Logistics are at the core of our business. The strength and depth of our logistical capabilities enables us to manage external factors that may impact continuity of supply, from refinery outages to geo-political issues.

ADI Trading activities are controlled by means of three aspects:

  •  By policy, through a committee on trade framework, credit extension and business risk management and by using good corporate governance as a guideline for business conduct for management and staff.
  • By structure and duty, through a control and cross-check system under the company’s policy and regulations. The division of job functions are front office -liaising with clients, mid office -regulates trading and risk management and back office – contracts and credit management.
  • By IT system, our Commodity Trading Risk Management examines and regulates trading and risk management electronically on the on-line real-time basis. The system allows us to observe any transactions being carried out instantly and or taking any action needed under the company’s regulations and organization structure.

ADI Oil and Gas Trading Business Unit manages trading transactions and activities worldwide, involving complex and high-value transactions, and also expose to counterparty risk and commodity price risk. ADI Chartering

ADI Trading Business Unit provides services for the transportation of various products in both domestic and international waters. The business unit also provides spot and time-chartered vessel services for PTT group companies and trading partners both domestic and overseas with internationally recognized standards and economically competitive charges Additionally, the business unit also effectively manage chartering services to overseas customers in order to support growing physical energy product trading
