Our history

Founded in 2002 initially as Design Build Company, ADI has become a worldwide Oil, Gas, and Petroleum Products trading company.

From the beginning, our management team aimed at becoming a worldwide Oil, Gas and Petroleum Product company. Our culture is grounded in service, quality and efficiency.

Thanks to a rigorous approach to risk management and compliance, ADI is now one of the largest privately owned businesses of its type in the world.

Having begun with a focus on oil trading, our activities now encompass all key energy products and a wide range of Petroleum Products. We have also grown the physical elements of our business and operate a significant portfolio of assets, including production, logistics and storage interests.

ADI Oil and Gas is a leading energy company that supplies about a quarter of Texas’s fuel requirements We make, import, blend and deliver fuels, lubricants, solvents and bitumen through our extensive national and international supply chains.

The USA and West Africa Economies, in part rely on the products we sell, our experience in operating supply chains safely and reliably, and our commitment to helping USA motorists, businesses and industries. We are a proud USA Company, extremely proud of our history and excited to be an important part of USA’s and African future.

Founded in as Engineering and Design Build, the Company is already heavily involved in fleet management and transport of petroleum products, and specializes in the trading of crude oil, shipping and refining in West Africa and United States.

ADI operates as a fully integrated international merchant of crude oil and petroleum products, focused on the supply and trade of light petroleum fuel oil (LPFO), refined oil products and other petrochemical products to local refineries in West Africa countries and the USA.

The Company’s strategy is to replicate its successes in Oil and Gas Energy and maritime transportation sectors. To achieve this, ADI has set out a roadmap for investing in people, processes, strategic acquisitions, principal investments and continuous expansion within West Africa and worldwide.

As part of our long-term strategies to optimize vertical alignment, ADI has segregated its business to increase focus on four district areas to further generate individual growth, enhance business operations and prospects within each sector, and maximize return on the investment and shareholder value.
